Art

Art at QCPS is concerned with making children aware of facts and issues involving colour, space and form and is designed for children to investigate and rehearse their skills in the visual arts. It is about looking at the world and investigating how other people, in differing times and cultures, have looked at the world and reacted within the visual arts. Art has a distinctive contribution to make to the curriculum, encouraging children to act creatively and develop critical skills.

The girls regularly attend workshops and visit galleries for inspiration. Every year in July we host our annual art exhibition, displaying and celebrating the high quality of children's artwork.
